After Weeks of Delays, Easterly’s Nomination Is Unanimously Approved by Voice Vote
After weeks of delays and political infighting, the U.S. Senate unanimously approved Jen Easterly to serve as director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. CISA has been without a permanent leader since former President Donald Trump fired then-Director Christopher Krebs in November 2020.
